Suggest Treatment Fro Bruising And Swelling In The Arms

I received an electrical shock from a large bank of capacitors and I could not use my arm for a couple of days. The arm became very bruised and swollen. The swelling has gone down but the bruising is still there after one week. The arm is still very tender but seems to function properly. My concern is if there is any muscle damage.
