Hello
Xanthelasema is because of accumulation of lipids under the skin in the eyelids.
The definitive treatment is by evaluation for lipid profile and treatment of increased cholesterol levels.
The treatment of xanthelasema lesion is by surgical excision or by laser treatment.
The control of lipid levels will prevent recurrence of the lesion. Evaluation and control of the lipid levels is important to prevent systemic diseases like atherosclerosis, ischemic heart disease, cerebrovascular accidents and strokes...

Hence I advice you to consult your physician for evaluation and treatment for lipid profile and to consult your eye doctor for treatment by surgical excision for xanthelasma.

Thank you
