I really need some help. I was seen over a month ago for wrist pain, after the x-rays and M.R.I. it's seen that i have a cyst in my wrist bone and the tissue and lunate bone is degenerating around it. Though that's what my doctor has stated, and has said her opinion after some blood results. It's Kienbox disease. They have made me a neurologist appointment for another month away and won't say or do anything till those results. i call and call but only get the message there's nothing we can do, and we're not sure whats going on. However i'm still in this off again, on again horrible pain. I can't even pick up my 3 year old son, it kills my wrist just to type. I've been taking ibrophan tylonal and advil for a straight week now as much as possible and no relief. no relief when iced, or heat is on it. I don't know what to do, I can't find another orthopedic that'll take me a.s.a.p. and takes my insurance. My doctor seems to be neglecting my needs. I don't want pain pills i just want to know whats going on and it fixed like yesterday. my appointment after the neurologist isn't even till September and it just seems ridiculous to me. I am a single mom, and desperately need my wrist. Can you give me any advice. Any way to get into a different orthopedics sooner, i don't care if i have to drive a state away. i just don't know what to do.
