Suggest Treatment For Wound On Nipple

This questions sounds quite foolish, but while boogie boarding, I cut off the tip of my right nipple and it s constantly burning and itching. Is their an over the counter ointment for this or will my nipple heal itself and the pain will stop. Their is no bleeding, but I can visibly see that the tip of my nipple is cleanly sliced off.

Hello, welcome to HCM. If there is no yellow secretion (indicates infetcion0, then leave it as itis. Dont apply anything. See that it is dry. See that it is in touch with dry soft cotton clothes because nipples are very sensitive, even rubbing also causes pain.It should be dry so healing will be fast. Take care.
