Hello Banu,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:
1.
Wheezing can only be confirmed by listening to chest by stethoscope. So if your doctor has diagnosed wheezing, you can trust him/her for diagnosis.
2. As you have first episode of wheezing, it can be due to viral infection. So you should not worry about anything serious at present. Such episodes improve with medicines and usually the patient completely recovers within 2-4 weeks.
So I would suggest you to complete medications prescribed by your doctor.
3. If you have repeated episodes of wheezing, in future, then only one has to think about chronic diseases like
asthma, etc.
4. To make you understand "wheezing", it means whistle like sound coming from chest due to narrowed respiratory tubes (bronchi), which can be due to infections,
bronchitis, asthma, and many other possible causes. Actually, wheezing is a sign and not a diagnosis.
Hope above information will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish you the best of the health ahead.
Thank you & Regards.
