Suggest Treatment For Vomiting, Cough And Weight Loss In Child

Yes, you may try to enlighten me. My great-nephew, who is about 6 weeks old, cannot keep milk down. He is able to take some water, but, only a few ounces at a time. He has been throwing up his milk whenever he is fed. His mom has at times gotten a few ounces down. His doctor has tested him for everything. He has a bad cough, but no fever. However, he has lost weight and is down to 10 lbs. The doctor says that it s just a virus and it will run it s course. My question is, could he be lactose intolerant? And, if so, wouldn t his doctor have thought of that? Thank you, Myrna Wydeven
