Suggest Treatment For Vitreous Detachment With A Small Dot And Faint Lines
I have vitreous and still have a small dot left and a few faint lines. It s been 4 months. I m seeing the eye doctor every couple of months to monitor the progress but no change since the last visit 2 months ago, will this go away on its own and if so how long on average does it take
No specific treatment is needed for PVD. That said, complications of PVD are rare but can be serious and require urgent treatment, such as a laser for a retinal tear or surgery for a retinal detachment. For this reason, one or more checkups are recommended within 3 months after the onset of PVD.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
