I have varicose veins in my legs. I am 34 years old. (mother of 3) I weighed 316 and had the gastric bypass in 2002 and currently weigh about 220. I still have alot of excess skin and am heavy in my legs. I had thrombophlebitis in 1997 following the birth of my daughter. (superficial) This was in the back of my left leg, behing the knee on the inside corner. Now on the middle and outside corner, I have a lump that goes all the way across. My leg is always tender where the vein is busted, but now I am noticing tightening and pain in the area of the lump. What could this mean?
