How Should Leg Pain Caused By A Deep Vein Clot Be Treated?
I have pain in my leg on the inside of my knee. It feels like a blood clot and i called my Midwife and she wanted me to go straight to the Walk-in/ER and they took a ultrasound and there was no deep vein clot. i do not have swelling but lots of pain in the vein area. Any idea?

It must be treated with heparin administration by intravenous route or subcutaneusly as long as there is sign of thrombosis. In most cases patient should be hospitilized fot it. Also, leg should be elevated and elastic compresses should be placed.
