Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroids

Hi,I have a tender belly in places if I press it,very bloated in the evenings,can feel a hard lump in my pelvis,had ultrasound which don t have full report but GP told me have a fibroid that is 13.5cm in circumference,swollen left ovary and some thickening of the lining of the uterus. I m 39, have two Children and was told when age 20 have PCOS but didn t have trouble having the children,how best do you think to treat the fibroid?thanks

Hello,

That is a considerably large fibroid and I don't believe medical manage will do you much good. I would suggest surgical treatment of the fibroid. Based on whether you want to have more children, you could consider the different options for surgery with your OBGYN. For the thickening of the endometrium, I would suggest you get an endometrial biopsy done to evaluate that as well.
