Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had a urinary track infection off and on for the past 4 months. I was on antibiotics for most of this year for infected sweat glands in my arm pits and I am a type 2 diabetic. Is this urinary track infection associated with long term antibiotics being prescribed and being a type 2 diabetic?
Urinary tract infection can occur commonly in Diabetic persons. Control your blood sugar with daily monitoring. Drink 2 -3 litres of water daily. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
