hello
welcome to hcm
a enlarged spleen is usually very easily palpated by a trained doctor during physical examination of the abdoman...you have not mentioned that did your doctor examined your abdoman and was she able to feel the enlarged spleen or not ?? anyways,a feeling of fullness in the left side of abdoman along with pain which has started to radiate towards the right side INDEED POINTS TOWARDS A POSSIBLE ENLARGEMENT OF SPLEEN...thesimplest and easiest way to confirm enlarged spleen is to get a ULTRASOUND OF ABDOMAN and it will reveal the exact size of spleen precisely....
splenomegaly ( enlargement of spleen ) is not a disease in itself,it is rather just just a sign of some other underlying primary disorder so once you get the ultrasound of abdoman to confirm if the spleen is enlarged or not,do send us a scanned copy of your ultrasound report or contact your treating doctor so that the doctor can evaluate your report and guide you further for any other investigations required and appropriate treatment required
i hope you find my opinion helpfull
regards
hcm
