Hallow Dear,

Trichomona is a protozoal organism which usually affects the woman's vagina. This infection is transmitted usually through sexual relations, though unhealthy hygienic practices may cause this infection. May a times, there may not be any discharge seen in men, however, the itching may be present.

This infection can very effectively be treated by Metronidazole.

Considering its potency to infect through sexual route, both the partners should undergo the treatment simultaneously even though MALE PARTNER TESTS NEGATIVE.

Till both of you are declared completely cured, please observe complete sexual abstinence.

I hope this helps you.
