My doctor just diagnosed I have tonsiloliths, but this type irritates my throat and makes me cough real hard for 4 months now. Before the diadnosis I have taken many cough syrup and drug, but they did not help. What do I do? I really sleep at night.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..Treatment for small tonsil stones -not usually necessary. Larger stones may require local excision; embedded tonsilloliths (which develop inside tonsils) are not easily removed, but will naturally erupt from the tonsils over time.
It can also be removed through scraping and scooping (curettage) using small implements such as Q-tips and tweezers. u could do salt water garlge ad also betadine dissovled in water. either ways plz consult a ent specialist..for treatment..hpe it helps,,tc
