Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis

Hi, I have tonsillitis at the moment. My doctor originally thought it was quinsy but when I went to the hospital a ent doctor trying to syringe some puss from my throat but nothing was there. I now have large yellow coloured patches on my tonsils and also what seems to be a black hole. Is this normal?

don't worry it might be just follicular tonsillitis or peritonsillitis. In quinsy you will have severe pain in throat, decreased mouth opening, earache, difficulty in swallowing. so this doesn't seem to be quinsy. immediately start with amoxyclav 625 TDS for seven days if you are not allergic to penicillin. take an antacid and levocetrizine along with it. start with betadine gargles and symptomatic analgesics. you will respond. if not then you can go for a throat swab.
