Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
Well its a good sign that you are improving. Generally trauma to foot may be associated with bony injury as there are so many small bones in this area. Anyways, hopefully there is no such injury in your case.
I would suggest the following-
Continue ice and aleve
Take antacids or PPIs like pantroprazole as NSAIDs like aleve causes gastric problems
Take chymoral forte if there is swelling
Rest and immobilisation of foot for 3-4 more days
If there is still pain and swelling after 3-5 days, get an XRAY ANKLE JOINT AND FOOT RIGHT/LEFT SIDE AP & LAT VIEW done
See an ORTHOPEADICIAN with the reports

Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards
I find this answer helpful
