Suggest Treatment For Tiredness And Shortness Of Breath While Walking

My father-in-law has an enlarged heart. He cannot walk without getting tired or extremely out of breath. He has been on diurectics but he seems to be getting worse. He will see his doctor tomorrow. Can they do other things to get him feeling better?

Hello,

He is not in good conditions and it seems the the heart function has decreased. Yes, that can do a coronarography to evaluate the heart vessels and to decide if there is something wrong with them. I am sure he will be better after that. I wish a good recovery for him soon

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
