Suggest Treatment For Tight Feeling In Chest

It sounds stupid. But whenever I think about school I get a really tight, hot feeling in my chest and I start thinking really pessimistically about everything. I start lingering around the house and I feel like I eat less. Is it normal or have I got something wrong with me?

Hi there.

It appears that your have an Anxiety disorder. If you have any other symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath, then you need to get evaluated for heart conditions like valvular heart disease and ischaemia. Try to consult with a Psychiatrist if your have severe panic attacks and disturbed sleep.

Try to reduce stress with deep breathing exercises and Yoga.

Thanking you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
