Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a piece of fish bone in my throat, I do not visually see it, however the sensation is still there. I am uncertain if the piece is still there, but the pain persists on a number 2 on a scale of 1 to 10 being generally dull but uncomfortable enough to prevent me from sleeping.
Since the pain is consistent then you may want to consider visiting an ENT doctor for assessment.
The doctor would be able to take a look at your throat to see if there is an sign of injury.
Pain may be related to inflammation due to the bone and the use of anti inflammatory pain killers would help. Examples are ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen
I hope this helps
