Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain After An Yeast Infection

my daughter (age 12) seems to have a yeast infection from using an inhaler, we just noticed it yesterday after she complained of her throat hurting. She has a follow up appointment with the doctor tomorrow, but just wondering if should take her to urgent care.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Throat infection with yeast is most probably due to long term use of steroid inhaler.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider at the earliest.
The steroid inhaler may have to be discontinued for some time.
However, that should only be done under supervision of your doctor only.
At the same time, maintenance of good immunity is of paramount importance else opportunistic infections take over.

Thanks and take care
