Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is he having any fever? Taking breastfeeds? How is cough now? If no fever, taking breast feeds well, and cough is decreasing, we need not worry. Appetite will take 1-2 weeks to become normal after any infections. If chesty cough continues, fever still there, or if he develops breathing difficulty, kindly review with pediatrician as this might need a higher antibiotic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
