General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thoracic spine pain can be treated with stretching massage therapy. Heat and ice therapy to reduce swelling or inflammation if any. Medications like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen give symptomatic relieve. Maintain correct standing, sitting & sleeping posture. Avoid sitting for a long time on the computer, take breaks.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP. Get X-Ray & MRI done to detect medical factors (like spinal osteoarthritis, AS, Slipped discs, injury to the nerve (T1-T5), fracture or trauma to the vertebra) that may cause you discomfort. Your treatment will depend on your clinical condition & the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
