Suggest Treatment For The Terrible Scar On The Knuckle

My son has a terrible scar on his knuckle which began as a scab and has been picked until it now is larger than a pencil eraser, is sore, has bled and resembles a wart. he is nineteen and has probably had this for at least 2 yrs. Should he see a dermotologist? Can it be froze off?

Scars can be difficult to treat.He can try with topical medications containing dimethicone and Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate .Plastic surgery is another treatment option for scars.He must consult his doctor and discuss the treatment options mentioned above, regards
