Suggest Treatment For The Pain In The Ribs

I am 49 years of age. At times I feel accute pain beneath my left side lower ribes. The pain susidies after some time. This often happens when I lift some weight. please advise what can be the possible cause of this , what precautions I should take and what should be my further course of action for curing this problem permantly.

Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more because your pain is associated with heavyweight lifting.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain.
3. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
4. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
5. Take painkiller like ibuprofen.
Don't worry, you will mostly improve with all these in 1-2 weeks.
