Suggest Treatment For Tailbone Pain

I fell a week ago Monday on my left tailbone area. It was a hard fall but I went to the doctor who checked my tailbone and there was no pain. He did not check around the area and I still have a lot of pain. I cannt squat down to pick things up or lie on that side. Ice helps and Aleve.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have pain in the tailbone area .Doctor ruled out pain from tailbone. It means it is soft tissue and muscular pain. Treatment of it is analgesic (diclofenac) and rest . Avoid sitting on hard objects. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
