One day I went to the doctor it was 150BPM as I was nervous at that point of time.. Again it was 110 after few minutes... I have neither thyroid nor anaemia... General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Anxiety and stress can cause elevated heart rate and it is called physiological tachycardia.

You have to check your sleeping pulse rate. If sleeping pulse rate is also high, drugs like beta blockers may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family physician
