Suggest Treatment For Swollen Toes After Injury

I think I broke my toes a few days ago. The doctor didn t X-ray becausee they are treated the Sam H buddy wrapped my big toe and the second. Nothing has broken through but the toes look like blood sAusages I have benn icing and elevating. Any problem with the toes appearing to be so full of blood. thanks Barb

hi,
it takes nearly two weeks for the swelling to completely resolve..
if there is a fracture it may take a little more time..alll you have to do give rest to the toe..
take tablet phlogam which helps reduce the swelling
let me know what medicine you are taking now..
if you have fevers or the swelling doesnt come down even after two weeks meet your doctor for further evaluation..
