Suggest Treatment For Swollen, Stiff, Weak And Painful Right Leg

I have leg pain in my right leg. It comes and goes. And some times it s words than others. At first the pain was behind the knee then the hole knee area felt swollen and stiff. Now I have to baby my leg from time to time. When I bend down I feel a lot of pain and my leg feels weak like I need help to stand backup. Some times I can bend my knee and some times it hurts to bend my knee. What is your opinion?

Swollen, stiff and painful knee is arthritis and causes for this would range from being infectious, accidental injury to autoimmune. To know the exact underlying cause, there are few blood tests as well as X-ray fo the joint need to be done. I suggest you consult a rheumatologist regarding it. He will be able to do a physical examination and with detailed medical history of yours he will be able to guide you further. For now to reduce the pain you can take ibuprofen which will reduce some swelling as well. Also apply ice packs or painkiller ointment on the involved knee.
