Suggest Treatment For Swollen Neck Near Collar Bone With Numbness

I have a large swollen area on the right side of my neck. It is just above my collarbone, and about four inches from the center of my throat. If I was a body builder, it would appear to be a well developed muscle, but that is not the case. It is very soft to the touch, doesn t not feel like there is a mass of any kind, but movement of my neck on that side causes numbness in my right arm down to my fingers. Any thoughts or recommendations? Which medical specialty would handle this type of concern? Thanks!

Hi,

You shouldn't ignore it.

Get ultrasonic biopsy from that swelling , E.S.R done and send me the report.

You haven't mentioned any history of fever or weightloss do I am assuming it to be normal.

If pain occurs you can take aceclofenac + serratiopeptidase combination three times a day, pregabalin at night by prescription of your family doctor.

You can get your physical examination done by orthopaedic surgeon.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
