Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck
I recently went to see my doc. I have swollen glands on the left side of my neck which makes it uncomfortable to swallow and am very tired. All I want to do is sleep. I also have mild cold symptoms. Also on my left side I have lump near my classical but it is not painful and I ve had that for quite some time. I thought I might have mononucleosis but my woodwork for that was negative. However my other blood work showed slightly elevated whit blood cells and an elevation in my blood calcium level. Also my alkaline phosphatase was slightly high and sed rate was high. I m not really sure what all that means and I also have a CT schedules. Any ideas on what may be happening? I m a 50 year old female that has never smoked. Any help you can give me in understanding all this would be appreciated. My thoughts are getting the better of me
Hi,today least invasive and good diagnostic facilities available.According to my opinion ,First you can undergo FNAC fine needle aspiration cytology to rule out for malignancy(because calcium and alkline phospatase high). Then go for other investigation and further work by general surgeon.
