Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cyst On The Eyelid

I have had a cist on top of eyelid that has swollen doctor has prescribed antibiotic cephalexin 500gm 4 x day for 5days. Have taken 6 tablets so far but swelling seems to have increased slightly, no increase in pain just more swelling. Is this normal

Hello,

From the history it looks like you have a chalazion in your eyelid. Complete your antibiotic course and along with antibiotic apply hot compress over the eyelid cyst. After your antibiotic course if the cyst is not changing in size then the cyst needs to be scooped out. It is a small OPD procedure which will not cause much discomfort for the patient.
