Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cheeks Post Root Canal Treatment

Root canal a week ago. Cheek swollen. Pain. Temporary filling in. I want to go see my endodontis again. Took 10 days of penicillin 500 mg .. 7 day was root canal. Finished script three days after. Lol I am not paying you to tell me to go back to endodontis ASAP. Warm salt water rinsed. Cool compress to cheek then alternate naproxen and Tylenol. Have a great day !

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..

As per your complain it seems that you have got re-infection in your root canal treated tooth while there is also a possibility that you have flaring up of lingering infection and swelling of the cheek seems to be due to dental abscess formation.
Although you have taken antibiotics that can reduce infection but to relieve the infection completely you need to get the infection retreated..
I would suggest you to consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and a re-root canal treatment followed by antibiotics like Augmentin and painkillers like Ibuprofen and also cool compresses will relieve..

Any further questions are welcome..

Regards..
