General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to blunt trauma.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

For further assessment you may require X Ray or MRI of affected ankle.

Use ankle cap.

Use support while walking.

You may require surgical intervention in case of fracture.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
