Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Hands

hi i hit a wall pretty hard yesterday, my middle finger knuckle took all the brunt of the punch. i tried to move the bones individually to check for breaks, nothing free moves, but the top of my hand is swollen. i have full motion but weakness. and today if i press on my knuckle and do small circles i feel like my knuckle is full of sand. should i go get X-rays or give it another day. am i running a risk for infection if i don t go get it looked at?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
You need to take urgent Xray of hand to rule out fracture. If there are dirt inside it will appear on xrays. There is possibility of infection if you have bleeding with trauma. If there is fracture need to consult expert orthopaedic surgeon. If there is no fracture apply cold compress And crepe bandage. Take tab diclofenac plus serratiopeptodase combination twice a day for pain relief. Take tab augmentin 625 mg thrice a day to prevent infection.
