I was outside moving lumber and a pallet. After carrying the pallet a ways, I noticed my left index finger felt weird. Took off my glove and saw that my left index finger only is swollen and appears to be swollen also at the base knuckle between the index and middle fingers. Might be a bruise right behind base knuckle of left index on the palm. I can bend the left index and I can feel it, and I m using it right now to type, but it hurts a little (not bad). I took 600 mg Ibuprofen and put on ice for about 10 minutes. Do I need to go to Urgicare??? I am a 49 year old female with otherwise no major health problems. Thank you !
