Hi. I suffer from SLE & for the past 5 years my right foot & ankle suddenly swells up. Usually it only happens in July & lasts for several weeks. This year it started swelling in April & has steadily worsened in the last few days. I consulted my rheumatology nurse & have been tested for dvt - which was negative as I only had 2 symptoms they look for. I m at a loss as they have no idea why it s only one foot & they can t diagnose the cause.
