Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Bruised Incision
I had a c section about a week ago. My incision is now swollen and bruised, but only on the right side. I claimed stairs once and then about 6 hours later is when swelling started. About 6 hours after that is when the bruising started. There is very minimal pain, and no discharge.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Swelling and bruising of c-section incision is suggestive of bleeding within subcutaneous tissue. Absence of pain and discharge rules out possibility of infection at the incision site. Consult your surgeon for clinical assessment and management of bruising and swelling.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
