Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Forehead After Injury

I just hit my head on the ceramic soap dish in the shower causing a slight cut and a bump the size of a dime. Now there seems to be more swelling or almost like liquid under my skin after I applied an ice pack. The swelling has gone down some. Is that normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about the injury. Yes, it is normal for the swelling to occur after hitting your head on the ceramic soap dish and by applying ice the swelling or inflammation will reduce. In some days to come, the swelling will disappear.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
