i had a full bottle of unopened soda fall from 5 feet above and hit me cap side down on the top of my foot by the part where the toes actually meet up with the rest of the foot. it swelled but after about an hour the swelling went away. i have some discoloration. but what is concerning me is a tingly feeling that comes and goes and it hurts severely to put weight on it. could i have fractured it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due blunt trauma.

For further assessment you may require X Ray of foot after orthopedician consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require slab after consultation or surgical intervention after orthopedician consultation.

Use support while walking. Take proper rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
