Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Shin Caused By An Injury

Hi, I have a small incident on Sunday night (3/29/15). I was playing on a playground with my little brother, while climbing up a curved stair case my left flip flop slipped off making my Shinbone hit the metal bar pretty hard causing a lot of pain and a small bit of torn skin. It bruised up a little but has had mostly swelling. Today I noticed the swelling had gotten worse but I work so I haven t had time to evaluate it under a pillow. It doesn t hurt to walk, but it is swelling, & by swelling I mean I can press my shinbone and see an indentation, still bruised a bit, and numb to the touch. Should I seek medical attention or let it heal up alone? Thank you. Sincerely, Briona.

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is injury due to fall then this need to be medically examined and some time may need x-ray study and this can never be underestimated or taken as granted so better to go to see the doctor, take care and have a nice day.
