Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Knuckles After Injury

Hi, I bumped my finger this morning, hardly noticed it. Not sure if this is related to the bump, but my knuckle became swollen and now it s traveled down my finger, and it is turning dark red. My hand is feeling odd, kind of tired, and my wrist and other fingers are now sore and weak.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCm. you have hurt your finger. Please take cold compression till you go to doctor for further treatement. It should be evaluated whether there is any injury. This can be done by taking simple xray.If fracture is ther thay will put creape bandage to reduce the mobility after reduction of fracture. The superficial cappilaries are damaged leading to discolouration. So please take an appointment with the orthopaedician. Take care.
