Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Cheek And Jaw Pain After An Injury

I've just fallen face first off a chair onto our wooden floors. My right cheek copped the brunt of the fall, it is now very tender, swollen and my top jaw also aches. I think my cheek is also numb but I now have an ice pack on it so its hard to tell. Do I need to go to the hospital or just take some pain killers and sleep it off?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The swelling in the cheek could be because of the impact secondary to the trauma.
The other possible cause of the swelling and numbness could be a fractured maxillary bone. Consult a oral physician and get yourself examined and take a radiograph like OPG and PNS view to rule out the fracture.
Meanwhile you can take an anti inflammatory analgesics like tablet tolpa D, twice daily for 3 days.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
