Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain On Foot After An Injury

I dropped a heavy chair on the top of my foot on Christmas. It was swollen and hurted really bad. The pain subsided about a week later. The problem is that it started to hurt more gradually and now the pain is so bad I can hardly walk. I got an ex ray n the emergency room but they said that I would have to see a specialist That they didn t see a break.

Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum
Contusion(blunt injury) can cause pain and swelling which also restrict you from walking. If they referred you to a specialist, it is better to consult a specialist in this regard for further suggestions. All the best. Mean while you can take pain killers and avoid bearing weight.
