General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, you will need to see a Vascular Speicalist. Which area are you in? We could find a Vascular Specialist near you. Anyway, the swelling will take time to go.
It will get back to near normal over a period of few months. Some people take longer for the swelling to decrease. Some swelling usually remains but it does not cause any problems. Continue the blood thinner medicines for six months and then you can switch to Aspirin and Folic acid. You could ask further queries by asking a Direct or a Specialist query.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
