Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Bruises On Knuckle After Injury

I banged back of my hand really hard, now my knuckle is swollen and bruised, but it does not hurt to bend it. I applied a cold compress, but swollen isn t going down. Do I need to seek medical treatment or keep using cold compresses on and off? Thanks.

Hi

In case of a hard blow to the bones ,it is always good y get the area assessed by a doctor .
Ruling out a bony injury is very essential .
Although you can continue with the cold compressess for symptomatic relief ,but a direct assessment by a doctor is essential ,
