my Mom, 82, has been having episodes of what was suspected in her native of Bulgaria Gallbladder Billic spasms. Now they started becoming very frequent. I am afraid of raptured gallbladder. She is at a place without access to surgical medical care at the moment and we trying to see if we should take her back to Bulgaria for an operation.
The ALT/AST are pretty high (389/254 respectively, UI/L) and so is Gamma GT (154) and Phospahases Alkalines (219 UI/L). CRP (c-reactive protein) is also pretty hight 24.9 mg/L. All points to inflammation, but that could be just passing/rearranging of stones? She will have a ultrasound tomorrow, to take a loot at the abdomen. what are your thoughts how to distinguish/determine if she has perforated gallbladder right now or not?
