Suggest Treatment For Sudden Rise In BP

Sir/Mam, A week back my mom had a sudden high BP which read 190/110. Her cholesterol is 415. But from past few months she complained of head ache and pain in her hand. Six months back when checked her BP was normal. Now after she had high BP, her BP is fluctuating. One day it went too low and now its 140/90. Please advise what I must do. What sort of tests should I take her for. What type of diet is she supposed to take. Please advise how this can be controlled

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Go to cardiologist. Echo should be done and brain MRI or CT must be done. They will give you all the guidance on the basis of your reports!

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
