Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain After Hernia Surgery

I had gastric bypass surgery 7 years ago (open, not lap). 2 years later I had hernia surgery to repair several incisional hernias. I have continued to have pain in the center of my belly.....recently pain is gaining in intensity and I have a very itchy rash the entire length of my original incision.

Hi,
you might had developed the several incisional hernia because of the consequence of the older gastric bypass surgery.

Your present pain over abdomen could be sue to infection of the surgical incision or wound.

You must take proper antibiotics(cefardoxyl or cefixime or levofloxacin) with analgesics, antiinflammatroy and antihistamines.

You must see your operating surgeon for this complication.

Thanks
