Suggest Treatment For Stinging And Painful Leg After Injury

I dropped a solid bi-fold closet door on the top of my right foot 2 weeks ago - went to the emergency room - xrayed - no fractures - very painful and continues to swell - bruising and discoloration has moved from the top of the foot to ankle and back of leg - back of leg is painful to touch and so is the top of the foot - burning & stinging sensation along with the pain - what should I do?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic. After going through your query I think there is soft tissue injury in foot. You need just ice fomentation , analgesics, splinting and elevation of foot for some days. Pain and swelling will subside in few days. Hope your query has been answered . Thanks.
