Suggest Treatment For Stage 3 Pile

Hi Doctor, Mr brother ( Singaporean ) suffering a 3 stage pile, but he wanted to have a operation.May I ask some questions as:How many hour it take to remove the 3stage pile , and what is the cost?I would like to do it in Singapore.Thanks & Regards,Steven Chin

Noted the history about your brother in Singapore and understood your concerns.
Grade or stage III piles that is hemorrhoids need surgery for sure.
Surgery can be done by one of the following methods and hence the costings depend upon many such factors including the facilities and the hospital you choose, and the type of surgery , also the experience of the surgeon and so on.
The methods are:
Open ligation operation.
Hemorrhoid stapler surgery.
Smaller ones by banding or injection.
The stapler is costly hence will cost you the maximum.
Hence I would advise your brother to consult a General Surgeon or a Proctologist so that the grading, type of surgery can be decided.
